Mylène, Stations director, Brittany

“I am responsible for the cleanliness, security, ensuring equipment and services are working correctly and also passenger information at 126 stations, including 10 that welcome more than 250,000 passengers per year. My work is very complex and varied. Between the opening of a new business, a safety issue to resolve with a local authority or the opening of a cultural exhibition, no two days are the same. ”

Fatou, Building and Electricity Team Manager

“The main qualities required for the role of Building and Electricity Team Manager are being attentive in order to guarantee staff safety, being able to anticipate the tasks that need to be done and having a good understanding of the organisation. I lead a team of 14 people, 5 working in ‘energy’ and 9 in ‘building’.
My work involves organising the projects and schedules, checking that safety in ensured and of course managing teams. This is what takes up most of my time. ”

Stéphanie, Commercial director

“My work involves the commercialisation of all the station premises. The mission begins with research to determine each station’s commercial potential. Then comes the phase of tender processes to find the right concept and most appropriate business. I lead a 16-person team across four fields: large Parisian stations, Île-de-France stations, regional stations and national contracts (newsagents, car rental, vending machines, etc.). ”

Jérôme, Works Manager

“I am responsible for project management, on both a technical and financial level. I choose the type of workers needed for the project (energy, civil engineering, etc.), I am responsible for making sure the works go well taking into account constraints and unforeseen circumstances and I manage the financial side. In recent years SNCF Gares & Connexions has refocused its activity on the layout and maintenance of stations. The diversity and nature of the works is very wide. It’s never boring. ”

Cyril, Product Owner

“My latest big project is called EVA. This name may not mean much to you, but it will make life much easier for passengers at stations. EVA is the new programme that has completely overhauled passenger information at stations when it comes to both sound and image. ”
